Everything you (and your parents) might want to know.

If you don't find the answer to your question or concerns feel free to send us an email. Whether you're a teen or a parent, we're here to listen and help you feel at home.

What is a sound bath?

A Bjoiful sound bath meditation is a calming experience where you lie down, close your eyes or lower your gaze, as you listen to a guided meditation and soothing sounds from crystal singing bowls and other instruments. You don't have to "do" anything but be open to relaxing and experiencing your peaceful moment.

Do I need any experience?

Nope, You don't need to know anything about sound healing, meditation, dance, or art  to join our circles. This is a zero-pressure, no judgment space. Just come as you are.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfy clothes (seats, leggings, yoga pants, t-shirt, cozy socks). Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, maybe a small blanket or pillow for the sound bath sessions.

What if I feel shy or nervous?

That's totally normal. You don't have to talk, share, or participate in any way the feels uncomfortable. Many teens just relax quietly-and that's 100% okay.

May I come alone or do I need a parent to stay?

You're welcome to come on your own ,but you  will need your parent to sign a Teen Participation Waiver & Parental Consent Form. For group sessions, most teens come independently. For private sessions, it is preferred that a parent or guardian stay nearby in the waiting area.

Is this a therapy session?

This isn't a therapy or mental health treatment, but it's definitely therapeutic. Many teens say they feel lighter, more grounded, and better able to handle stress after a session. We support emotional well-being with sound, stillness, movement, and creative expression.

I'm transgender and not always comfortable in "girl spaces." Will this be safef for me?

We get it, and we're intentional about creating an inclusive space. You are seen, respected, and affirmed here-no need to explain your identity. We hold space with kindness, care, and awareness for all teen girls, including those who are trans or exploring gender.

I'm neurodivergent/sensitive to sound. May I still come?

Yes! Our sessions are soft, slow-paced, and trauma-informed. You'll never be pushed or rushed. Let us know what you need to feel safe and supported-we're here for you.
